Raising the Standard of Menopause Education.

I'm Emma Warwick-McElhinney, founder of The Menopause Training Academy.

I don't believe menopause education should be confusing, fear-based or gatekept. I believe it should be practical, evidence-based and accessible to every professional who wants to make a difference.

Why I Started The Academy

After years of working with women navigating perimenopause and menopause, one thing became impossible to ignore. Too many professionals wanted to help but simply hadn't been taught how.

That realisation led me to create The Menopause Training Academy, with one clear mission: to raise the standard of menopause education so more women receive the support they deserve.

My background spans nutrition, behaviour change, fitness, psychology, workplace wellbeing and business strategy, giving me a unique perspective on menopause that goes far beyond symptoms alone. I believe great menopause education should be practical, evidence-based and immediately applicable, whether you're supporting clients or colleagues.

I'm known for making complex science easy to understand, delivering training that's engaging, honest and refreshingly free from jargon. Expect evidence over opinion, practical tools over overwhelm and plenty of straight talking along the way.

Today, I divide my time between training the next generation of menopause professionals, supporting organisations to become menopause confident workplaces and mentoring health coaches to build successful, sustainable businesses.

When I'm not teaching, you'll usually find me paddleboarding off Scotland's west coast, planning my next countryside escape or pretending I'm not browsing Rightmove for the hundredth time that week.
